Children’s Day 2023: The history of Children’s Day celebration in India is linked to Jawaharlal Nehru, the country’s first prime minister, who steered the nation to the path of recovery and modernisation after Independence. A key figure in the country’s struggle for Independence, Jawaharlal Nehru served as leader of the country for 16 years.

It was his vision that paved the way for prominent educational and living facilities for Indian children.
