Uorfi Javed (born 15 October 1997; formerly Urfi Javed), is an Indian television actress and social media personality. Known for her unique fashion sense and social media presence, Javed began her career with roles in soap operas and rose to fame in 2021 after appearing on Voot‘s reality show Bigg Boss OTT

Early and personal background

On 15 October 1997, Javed was born into a Muslim family in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. She attended City Montessori School in Lucknow for her schooling and later graduated from Amity University in Lucknow with a degree in mass communication. Javed’s parents are Ifru Javed and Zakiya Sultana, and she has three sisters named Urusa, Asfi, and Dolly Javed, as well as a brother named Sameer Aslam. Unfortunately, Javed had a difficult childhood due to her father’s verbal and physical abuse towards her mother and siblings. Career

Javed made an appearance as Avni Pant in Sony TV’s Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania in 2016. Following that, she played the role of Chhaya in Star Plus’s Chandra Nandini from 2016 to 2017. Later on, she depicted the character of Aarti in Star Plus’s Meri Durga.

In the year 2018, she portrayed various characters on different television shows. She took on the role of Kamini Joshi in SAB TV’s Saat Phero Ki Hera Pherie, Bella Kapoor in Colors TV’s Bepannaah, Piyali in Star Bharat’s Jiji Maa, and Nandini in &TV’s Daayan. These diverse roles showcased her versatility as an actress.

Shivani Bhatia became a part of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai in 2020, while she portrayed the character of Tanisha Chakraborty in Kasautii Zindagii Kay at a later stage.
